Reading Counts Rewards

Students who earn any reading Counts points may spend them during the last week of each month at the Reading Counts Store in the Media Center. Points may be accumulated from month to month for bigger prizes.

Ribbons will be awarded at the following levels:

· Blue - 25-49 points
· Red - 50-99 points
· Bronze - 100-249 points
· Silver - 250-499 points
· Gold - 500+ points

Students who earn 500 points will also have their name engraved on a special plaque that hangs in the Media Center.

Trophies will be awarded to students in grades 2-8 who earn the following points:

· 2nd grade – 80 points
· 3rd grade – 95 points
· 4th grade – 110 points
· 5th grade – 125 points
· 6-8th grade – 135 points

* The class with the most points at the end of the year earns an ice cream party. The teacher gets a trophy to keep in her classroom.
