Ways to Give |
|
Gifts of Cash and Securities
Cash gifts are the simplest and most common form of giving to the school, and are tax-deductible up to 50% of your adjusted gross income in the year of your gift. If the gift exceeds 50% the remainder may be carried over and used as a deduction up to five years.
Checks should be made payable to Bridgeway Christian Academy.
Gifts of securities, such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, can be a strategically effective way to support BCA. Please work with your financial planner and the development office to discuss these opportunities.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies now have a program that matches their employees’ charitable giving to approved non-profit organizations. Some companies' programs even donate a monetary match for gifts of service or volunteerism for their employees. If you do not know if your company matches, the human resources department of your company will furnish you with instructions on how to apply for the match, if they participate. If you need further assistance, please contact Wendy Sullivan in the Development office at 770-751-1972.
A number of companies have matching gift programs in which the company matches gifts made by employees.
